Ghanaian songstress Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah popularly known as Mzbel has accused Ghanaian media over negative reportage about her music career.
Mzbel narrates on UTV that the media have consistently reported unfortunate stories around her career that have led her to lose partnerships with companies that are not interested in controversy around their brand.
An article published by myjoyonline affected me a lot. Crying Mzbel states that the media did not support her at the time she was in crisis. Instead of the media to support me during my troubles, the media took it like I deserve such unfortunate violence I encountered in my early career.
The songstress narrated the incident that happened at Kwame Nkrumah University of science and Technology (KNUST) at Kumasi in the Ashanti region in the year 2005 during her performance.
She acknowledged that there was no sympathy for her during her situation after the harassment towards the KNUST students. Mzbel revealed that the situation led her to miss plenty of opportunities.
According to her narration, the media made her dress improper.
