The young music sensation thrilled the Ballon d’Or crowd at the Theatre du Chatelet with his monster hit song Calm Down during the show.

Rema took to his social media to express his gratitude for the opportunity to perform at the biggest football awards gala organized by the French Football Magazine.

On his X account, the singer wrote: “Afrobeat in Ballon d’Or! I’m truly grateful for the opportunity. Glory to the most high for the grace.”

Argentina and Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi won the biggest prize on the night after clinching his 8th Ballon d’Or trophy.

Manchester City’s Erling Haaland and PSG’s Kylian Mbappe finished in second and third place respectively.
