Ghana is currently experiencing an economic crisis under the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Many are happening in the republic of Ghana, demonstrations are all over the country after Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was sworn in as a president of the Republic of Ghana.
Ghanaian gospel musician Sonnie Badu confidently tells the president of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo that he believes the president is not asleep.
The singer agreed that the current situation of Ghana’s economy is very weak but the citizens of Ghana can also help to restore it. In his opinion towards the crisis, he called on Ghanaians to put in much work to revive the current situation Ghana is battling.
Showbizafrica.net monitored an interview the musician had at one of the Ghanaian television stations (TV3). In the interview, the singer Sonnie Badu asked, he is sure the president of the Republic of Ghana is not actually sleeping on his role as a president but working diligently to resolve the economy to a better stage.
Sonnie Badu says; “I want to speak to the youth. I know things are tough here in Ghana, I’ve seen everything going on. However, in everybody, there is a gift, so let that gift inside of you speak for you. I said it on the other show. Today, I don’t think the president is sleeping. I think he’s having sleepless nights with whatever is going on,”
Again, he urged Ghanaian youths to let honesty be their path and hardworking will help to overcome the economic hardship in the country.
He finally told the host, Berla Mundi this; “But let’s also help ourselves. Let’s start networking and working together. Let’s walk in honesty, let’s walk in truth. When somebody gives you something, make sure you’re honest about it. I’ve heard so many stories, in the secular, I know everything,”
