South Africa based Ghanaian journalist flies his kids to USA over excellence academics at school

Ghanaian Journalist, Mr Ogyem Solomon known in public as ‘Mr Press’ flies two of his two three daughters to New York city in the United States of America (USA).

The renowned journalist who is based in South Africa left Johannesburg on Saturday 7th October, 2023 with his two daughters who hold South African Identity to the United States.

The Chief Executive Officer of the leading Ghanaian media and beauty logistics in South Africa surprises his children for being able to win best student in their school. The second born Brianna Berchie Mpondo received best English student in her school whilst the last born Meghan Sefaa Ogyem Mpondo became best young student in her school.

The 3-year-old Brianna had distinction in English Language whilst Meghan, 2-year-old became first student in the record in their school since 2005.

Ogyem, father of these brilliant children is hoping to witness more achievement from their kids that made him decide to convince the two that there is more to receive from their father if they continue to put more in their academics.

The Genesis of Ogyem’s journalism background started from Ghana’s first private radio station OTEC 102.9FM at Asewase in the Ashanti region. He completed OTEC School of Journalism and Communication Studies with Diploma in Journalism in the year 2013 and had his internship at their radio station. Mr Press was one of the few students selected to have an internship at the station. He then left for South Africa to pursue his education at University of South Africa (UNISA).

Ogyem had the opportunity to work at Multichoice channel 320 as marketing executive for 7 years. He started Press MltiMedia Media in 2018. He has been able to glance through the South African system and has been confirmed by international media in the Republic of South Africa.

He is married to Mrs Ogyem Gifty with three daughters (two in South Africa and one in Ghana).

The Press Media is the main media station that has hosted multiple government representatives in the Southern part of Africa. dignitaries like H.E George Ayisi-Boateng, H.E Charles Owiredu, Hon Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Pastor Yeboah of Prince Emmanuel Church etc.
