YouTube celebrates Ghanaian Vlogger ‘Wode Maya’ for 200,000,000 views

Known online as “Wode Maya,” Ghanaian YouTuber Berthold Kobby Winkler Ackon has amassed over 200,000,000 views on his channel.

The owner of a one million subscriber YouTube account presents his presentation following reports that a US-based cryptocurrency corporation compromised his account.

After deciding to give up living overseas (in China), the Ghanaian vlogger with an aeronautical engineering degree becomes the first to visit Africa on a self-funded mission to promote the continent. “Wode Maya” is currently in Uganda—the nation from which he was expelled years ago—to promote their culture and other things.

The Ugandan government contracted him to come visit the country.

‘Changing the negative narratives about Africa’ has grown in popularity, and the Ghanaian YouTuber has realized this aim.
